Kuwait’s Boushahri Group chooses SAP solutions
SAP announced that Boushahri Group, a Kuwaiti holding company, has chosen the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP® ERP) application to help it achieve greater efficiency in the automation of its business processes.
With more than ten companies with different activities, Boushahri Group will use the enterprise resource planning application to centrally manage its diversified business interests, providing the group with the tools to improve its efficiency and increase productivity in each of its business units.
In this regard, Mohamed Boushahri, General Manager of Boushahri Group, said: “SAP software is the only software that suits us now and in the future because of its scalability, reliability, multifunctionality, being an information technology platform and its seamless approach to integrating data within all business units.”
It is worth noting that the group had used in 2004 the level 2 (tier 2) of the enterprise resource planning application from SAP, but its exceptional growth in recent years made it the need for more advanced applications to suit its changing needs. Boushahri Group is confident that it has made the right choice when it has chosen SAP to provide it with future ERP applications.
Boushahri added: “After a long evaluation process, we found that only SAP applications, which are ranked as the best tier 1 enterprise resource planning applications in the world, are able to effectively automate our central business processes in terms of finances, organization, inventory management, services, wholesale and distribution. In addition to the hidden functions of the industry such as production, construction, oil and gas, and others.
Boushahri Group expects to achieve greater interdependence among its various divisions through the use of enterprise resource planning applications from SAP, and to ultimately increase profit margin by upgrading the standards of accuracy and efficiency in all business deals.
On the other hand, Sergio Makota, Executive Director, SAP Middle East and North Africa commented: “The vast experience that SAP enjoys will benefit all business units of Boushahri Group and will give the group the ability to achieve further growth. With its in-depth experience working on complex merger projects, SAP has everything it takes to support Boushahri Group at this important stage of its growth.
Boushahri Group prides itself on its multi-disciplinary business offerings, operating in a variety of sectors that cater to the daily needs of the consumer including electronics, food, real estate, chemicals, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals.
