Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager is to builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Developing a trade marketing strategy aligned with the brand strategy while focusing on Distribution, Display, POS, Promotion and Price, and establish channel strategies along with execute associated
- Prepare trade promotional plan in specific channels with Key weighted customers.
- Head responsibility to manage and monitor Trade Marketing Investments
- Supporting the implementation of the Trade Marketing
- Supporting the Sales Department to achieve their targets and initiatives by:
- Maintaining a positive and active customer base to increase purchase orders (i.e. increase share trade shelf)
- Reduce the OOS situation, and ensure all items availability
- Ensuring implementation of the Perfect Store standards per channel; right representation (planograms), Perfect POS, Points of Sales, right product placement,
- Co-ordinate with the sales team about the development of sales objectives, trade channel strategies and promotion programs and ensure their execution
- Tracking and Reporting of Key Performance Indicators relating to the Trade Marketing
- Increase success rate of promotions and brand
- Supplying data for internal reporting processes and take an action accordingly based on the analysis.
- Develop, supervise and improve procedures to link brand entire marketing activities with sales team
- Prepare annual account Sales / Trade marketing plan/ROI
- Analyze the opportunities regarding to channel development and promotion effectiveness.
- Actively seek, identify and analyze market trend, business opportunities and improvement ideas for sales.
Education /Experience Requirements
- BA / BS in Business or related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in FMCG (sales and trade marketing role)
- Computer Skiles
- Fluent in Arabic/English
- At least 5 years’ experience in FMCG (sales and trade marketing role)
- Must be a confident communicator and presenter
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
- Have a full understanding of Sales & Trade Marketing needs
- Proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to details
- Possess the ability to keep information confidential
- Tactical understanding of all primary Trade Marketing platforms
- Ability to work in high-stress environments, often for long hours
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude
- Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
